Locating in Nanjing, the ancient capital, Nanjing Bio-pharmaceutical Factory was the Institute of Central Agriculture Experiment founded by the National Government’s Industry Department in 1931. It is the first research institute engaging in the animal disease prevention and cure in China. It is also the biggest domestic poultry vaccine factory and the first one which meeting international GMP standards. Every year, it prepares and sells the vaccine for near 10 billion doses.
